Painting - Child development Center MK Hospital

Rotary Club of the Brickhills painting the child development centre in MK

Tall men can reach without ladders! We were asked by Milton Keynes Child Development Centre if we could help them to brighten up the main areas of the centre. Seven of our members turned up and got stuck in. Bright colours transformed the centre into a thing of beauty and everyone enjoyed the work and camaraderie.

We enjoy helping in this way, if you have a project you would like us to help with please contact us by email here or on 07913 864 669

MK Dons SET bus challenge

Elizabeth and Michael Daly in the MK Dons SET BusMK Dons SET Bus and Pete Winkleman February 25th 2011, saw the launch for the exciting community project from the MK dons, Pete Winkleman and local businesses. The MK Dons SET challange which stands for Sport and Education Trust.

Michael Daly ex-Rotaractor and friend of the club asked the Rotary Club of the Brickhills if we would help on this launch day by speaking with the public as the bus was displayed in Midsummer Place central Milton Keynes.

Elizabeth attended the launch, which was also attended by the Mayor, Pete Winkelman and Karl Robinson MK Dons manager plus many representatives from the many local businesses that had contributed to making the bus such an exciting habitat for the people of Beds Bucks Herts and Oxfordshire. A project we hope to become more involved with in the future.
